Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2025: What We Know, Predictions, & Looking Back

The Victoria's Secret fashion show is making its comeback again this year with details slowly rolling out. The brand brought the show back last year after its hiatus since 2019 due to controversy. VS' 2024 show brought in lots of attention, focusing more on the models themselves than the actual garments. Viewers were mainly disappointed by the lack of "bouncy blowouts" and "bronzy makeup," features VS has previously been known for. Shifting focus on this year's show, here's what we know, what I hope to see, and a look at previous shows:

What We Know

The 2025 show will take place on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 7PM ET in NYC. The first 6 models that have been revealed to walk the runway are Lily Aldridge, Joan Smalls, Adriana Lima, Alex Consani, Yumi Nu and Anok Yai.

Predictions & Hopes

Last year's show included LOTS of lace and solid prints with a few glittery garments in the mix. For this year's show, I could see more bling and prints. Some recent products VS has released includes Shine Strap bras, butterfly embroidered bras, printed sets and slips, and velvet corsets to name a few. While last year's show appeared to include more subtle, timeless elements, it makes me think this year's show could be more elaborate.

As for the models, social media has been buzzing with viewers praying for the iconic "bouncy blowouts" instead of last year's slicked back hairstyles and more of the bronzy, bold eyed makeup looks. I truly can't argue with this request; I believe these looks are a part of the VS fashion show experience, illustrating that "bombshell" appearance.

Looking Back

After 2024's show, I get the sense VS has taken notes and feedback from viewers and will attempt to go back to its roots of elaborate, bombshell, lively looks. Past shows have included a variety of themes, aesthetics, and symbols that last year's show lacked.

Wrapping Up

I hope for details, details, details at this year's event. There's so much room for creativity at these shows, and we all know VS can pull it off. We'll see the show in all its glory October 15th...
